What is Coaching?

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as “a partnership with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

And that’s exactly what we’ll do, while having fun in the process.

Here’s what some of my clients had to say when asked about the impact of coaching….

Co-Pastor & Church Administrator

A major breakthrough for me was the realization that the leadership team I am on needs to look inwards to utilize all of our own resources, before simply looking to external assistance. Additionally, as a very busy leader always dedicated to the needs of everybody else, I struggle with self-care. Coaching allowed me to come up with practical solutions in this area.

The coaching experience completely changed my thought process. It allowed me space to talk through obstacles and discover a meaningful course of action rather than simply reacting to a situation with one of several potential solutions. It helped me find the RIGHT solution.

The best part of the coaching process was to consider self-reflective questions that caused me to ponder other perspectives and alternatives, most of which I would not have discovered on my own. The coaching process helped keep me accountable to my commitments.
